Donnie Schonerock has always dreamt of being an entrepreneur. Born and raised in Alexandria, MN, after college Donnie moved to Jackson, MN where he worked in law enforcement for about 10 years. In 2016 he chased his dream of being a business owner and bought a restaurant. After nearly five years of owning his restaurant Donnie knew he wanted to expand and open a coffee shop. Minutes after meeting Brad and Angie Barber (founders of Cabin Coffee Company) in 2020 Donnie knew he wanted to be part of this family.

Donnie loves his community in Jackson and has raised his two amazing daughters, Grace and Lily, there. He has served on many boards, including 2 terms on Jackson’s city council. He is beyond excited and honored to be bringing Cabin Coffee to the community!
So many people have helped Donnie and his family along this journey. Jackson Economic Development Corporation, members of the board, and countless others have been integral in helping bring Cabin Coffee to the people of Jackson, MN.
