Step 1

Fill your reservoir with filtered water. If your machine doesn’t have a built-in filter, use filtered or bottled water.

Step 2

Weigh out your coffee and grind to a medium consistency. Add it to the filter basket.

Step 3

Set your machine to brew at 200°F (94°C) if it has a temperature setting. If not, most machines brew close to this by default.

Step 4

If your machine has a bloom function, make sure that it is enabled. Start the brew cycle and let it run completely.

Step 5

Pour and enjoy! If your machine has a warming plate, transfer to a carafe to avoid the coffee continuing to cook.
